Gobi Arts and Science College is an autonomous-government-aided institution established in 1968. It is located in the Gobichettipalayam, Tamil Nadu, India. Thiru. P Karuppannan, Dr V Thiagarasu, and Dr. R Sellappan are the president, principal, and dean respectively. The college was founded in 1968. However, it was primarily affiliated with Madras University, Chennai. Later, it became affiliated with Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. It’s a co-ed college supported by grants and is managed by the Gobi Arts College Council, registered in 1967 under the Societies Registration Act. The college’s main goal is to provide higher education opportunities to deserving students. Indeed, especially for those from low-income agricultural families.
